Operating as PetBuddy Products Private Limited, the company offers an online platform that includes adoption services, educational content on pet health, and an e-commerce marketplace for treats, toys, and accessories. Pet Sutra’s USP was its flagship yak‑milk based treat Chewlicious. Since then, they have expanded into broader categories like grooming products and wearable devices for pets. The platform positions itself as a holistic pet‑parent ecosystem, blending a mobile app interface with direct‑to‑consumer supply chains and data‑driven decision‑making. Pet Sutra has successfully secured a total of USD 1.29 million in funding across five separate rounds. The company has attracted support from a wide pool of approximately 71 investors, including prominent names such as Aura Group, Lead Angels, Auxano, Social Venture Partners, and Venture Garage. The journey began with an angel investment of ₹95 lakh (approximately USD 148,000) in early 2018, which laid the foundation for its growth in the pet wellness space. The company closed a fresh seed round in 2022 of USD 66,400. The infusion of fresh funds has fuelled Pet Sutra's expansion in pet care categories, culture‑first product innovation, and greater adoption across India and global markets. Their strategy focuses on building a complete pet parent journey.
