PawsIndia was founded in 2016 by Priyam and Sujay Singh. The company’s vision is to make life better for pets and their parents across India. Based in Mumbai, the pet care brand offers everything from nutritious food and playful toys to grooming essentials and smart accessories for both dogs and cats. The company was among the first in India to introduce interactive pet toys and online pet insurance. The pet insurance service wasnt a very wellknown thing then in the Indian Market. Their big break came in 2022 on Shark Tank India when Anupam Mittal backed PAWSINDIA with a ₹50 lakh investment for a 15% stake, taking Pawsindia’s value at ₹3.33 crore. Since then, PawsIndia has raised a total of $66,100 in funding, with Anupam Mittal as its sole investor. Their latest round, an Angel investment, closed on March 31, 2022. PawsIndia's commitment to innovation is evident in its diverse product lineup. They offer interactive toys like the "Wobble Wag Giggle Ball," designed to engage dogs in active play, and the "Magic Roller Electronic Dog Ball," which keeps pets entertained with unpredictable movements. For cats, products like the "Trembling Monster" provide stimulation and exercise. Additionally, PawsIndia offers a range of organic, dehydrated treats such as chicken, turkey, salmon, and duck jerky, catering to pets' nutritional needs.
