Just Dogs is a B2C pet care brand launched in 2011 by husband-wife duo Ashish Anthony and Poorvi Anthony. Based in Ahmedabad, the founders turned their love for dogs into India’s leading omnichannel pet retailer. Ashish, a certified K-9 specialist trained at the Police Dog Centre in Holland, and Poorvi, a certified grooming instructor with credentials from Canada and Malaysia, invested their expertise in crafting a one-stop pet shop experience. The company started with a single store and has since grown to operate over 50 outlets across India, serving more than two million pet parents. Just Dogs offers everything from canine food, treats, and accessories to grooming sessions, spa services, and vet consultations, both online and in-store. Just Dogs has raised about USD 9.44 million across two rounds. In March 2022, they secured USD 7 million in a Series A round led by Sixth Sense Ventures, supported by angel investor Hansa Hasmukh Shah. Later, they raised an additional USD 2.44 million, bringing their total funding to 9.44 million. The fresh capital went into expanding logistics, launching private-label brands like Magnafeast and Well Fed, and building an infrastructure of company-owned and franchise stores. With a mix of physical presence and a growing e-commerce platform, Just Dogs aims for 100 outlets in the next 2–3 years. Being strictly B2C, the brand remains focused on delivering quality products and services directly to pet parents. Its holistic approach, retail, services, and in-house brands, sets it apart in India’s fast-growing pet care sector.
