Dr. Paws, a veterinary clinic chain in Bengaluru, has raised ₹29.3 crore in new funding. The round was led by Chiratae Ventures, with existing investor Sauce Venture Capital also participating, along with venture debt from Trifecta Capital and Stride Ventures.

The company plans to use the new funds to grow its clinic network. It aims to open nine new clinics in Bengaluru by 2026, and soon step into Hyderabad and Pune. Dr. Paws is also working on at-home vet care and a line of pet treats, supplements, and food.

Growing Network

Founded by Udit Gadkary and Rakesh Santhapur, Dr.Paws currently runs three 24x7 clinics in Bengaluru, with two more to open soon. The company says each clinic becomes operationally profitable in about five months. So far, Dr.Paws has completed over 30,000 appointments and 800 surgeries. The team is now focusing on improving technology, training, and customer experience as they scale. Dr.Paws is also strengthening its leadership team to support its next phase of growth.
