A Tail-Wagging Evening at Marriott Whitefield

Bengaluru: Some evenings go beyond being special and become memories that stay long after the last wag, bark, and smile. The Pawfect Sundowner, hosted by Marriott Hotel Whitefield, was one such occasion, where pets were not just welcomed, but truly celebrated.

Held on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at the hotel’s open lawn, the pet friendly sundowner brought together nearly 30 pets and their pet parents for an evening focused on companionship, community, and responsible pet care. From 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm, the venue turned into a relaxed social space where pets could move freely and pet parents could connect with one another.

Adding a personal and heartwarming touch, Executive Chef Gaurav Paul, a devoted pet parent, personally welcomed the guests along with his pet dog. He curated a special gourmet menu exclusively for dogs, featuring a variety of biryanis, kebabs, cheesecakes, cookies, khichdis, and more, all served complimentary. The evening began with an icebreaker session, where pet parents introduced themselves and their pets, sharing meaningful stories and memories. This interaction helped create a warm and friendly atmosphere, allowing attendees to bond and form a close-knit pet parent community.

To support pet health and safety, specialists from Cessna Lifeline, the event’s Veterinary Partner, were present to answer questions and provide guidance on pet health and wellness. Their presence added reassurance and reflected the event’s focus on responsible pet parenting.

Adding to the lively atmosphere, Happy Pet, the Event Partner, organised two fun-filled games that brought joy, laughter, and excitement to both pets and their humans. Happy Pet also showcased its pet parent app and merchandise, offering attendees a look into its growing range of products and services.

A key highlight of the evening was the Pet Fashion Show, where pets confidently walked the lawn, drawing applause from the audience. Marriott Whitefield’s in-house pets also took part, adding a special touch to the finale. Winners received attractive prizes, including a luxury stay at Marriott with their pet, a brunch experience for both pet and parent, and gift hampers.
