A Tragic Accident That Changed Everything

Her parents died in that accident, and Sanam sustained deep head injuries. She even broke a few bones in that accident. The doctors kept it secret for ten days before eventually telling her about the death of her parents. The information broke her into pieces. The whole time, she believed it to be nothing but a bad dream. The transition to her new life of using a wheelchair was especially difficult for her since she ha always been a very active and independent person.
Learning to Live Again After Paralysis
Sanam spent eleven months in the hospital. In the early days, she could not even move her arms. She was totally dependent on the other people around her for doing any little thing. Every meal, change of clothes and even the simple act of brushing teeth was a matter of getting assistance. Very soon getting ill, she didn't get restored completely and wanted to be in bed nearly three years. In fact, the feeling of being very much alive had left her. However, with the help of her grandmother, friends and kind gesture of strangers. She gradually was able to gather her life back. Another step toward recovery was her therapy at the Indian Spinal Injuries Centre, New Delhi. There, she was able to work on her mental as well as physical strengths. Then she became self, reliant once more. Seeing others hold on to hope, she found the strength to keep going.

Sanam Rabadi always dreamed of being a veterinarian but could not do so due to her physical condition. However, life took her in a different direction. She was invited by Shirin Merchant to a Labrador named Magic after a newspaper article about her experience. Magic was her friend, aide, and emotional support all through her life. With the help of Sanam's training, her husband Suraj, and later the perfect-pooch dog boarding service in Mumbai, the couple learned to work with dogs and eventually started a new venture. Sanam's friendship with Suraj blossomed through trust, understanding, and love.
A Life Built on Hope and Resilience

Her journey not only terminates with the date of 8th January. When she died but still keeps inspiring people with the same message of battling the odds and taking life with valour.
Conclusion
Sanam Rabadi’s experience is more about the loss and disability that can be experienced—and about the strength to carry on with life every single day. When she lost all that mattered in one moment in time, she rebuilt herself with herself with_sr_come home with patience and with SANAM’s unbreakable spirit. With her connection with dogs, with the backing of Suraj, and with her being strong in finding purpose in pain, she demonstrated that strength doesn’t have to be about being loud in every moment and that it can be about refusing to give in to situations that can be overwhelming. This experience while teaching me about the lessons of living with grace and humor and heart reminds me that while life can be unpredictable and unexpected in many different ways, it can be lived to its full potential.
