The Dogo Argentino is a large, strong, and powerful breed originally from Argentina. These dogs were bred for big-game hunting, but they are also loving and loyal family dogs when trained well. They have a short, white coat and a muscular build.  

Dogos are known for their courage and protective nature. They are very loyal to their families and can be great guard dogs. But, they need proper training and socialization from a young age. Without it, they can be too dominant or territorial. They are not the best choice for first-time dog owners because they require firm leadership and experience.

One major thing to know about the Dogo Argentino before you get one home is their exercise needs. They are very energetic and need a lot of physical activity. They do best with active families who love outdoor adventures. If they don’t get enough exercise and mental stimulation, they can develop behavioral problems. In India, they are more suited to a farmhouse or a villa setup with a lot of space to run, than an apartment.
