Frequently Asked Questions

Can you keep more than one Sapphire Devil in the same tank?

Yes, but be cautious. If multiple individuals are kept, ensure a sufficiently large tank and plenty of hiding places. Best is one male with several females rather than mixing many males.

Is the Sapphire Devil reef safe?

Generally yes for hardy corals and invertebrates.

How soon after setting up a tank can I add a Sapphire Devil?

Introducing such a fish into a fully matured aquarium helps reduce stress and aggression.

How to dim aggression in Sapphire Devils?

Provide enough hiding spots, break lines of sight with décor, avoid placing multiple males in small tanks, feed well, maintain stable water parameters.
